Meet Yazmin, Maisie and Hayla.

Together they are STAND UNIQU3 and they're the UK's entry for Junior Eurovision 2023 in Nice, France.

Sixteen talented young acts from around Europe will take to the stage on Sunday afternoon to show the world what they've got and be crowned the winner of the competition.

STAND UNIQU3 will be the fifth act to perform on the night with their song, Back to Life.

They've had a full on week preparing for the show - so how's it been going?

"We've had tutoring as well!"

If you thought being an act in Junior Eurovision was all glitz and glamour, the girls have bad news for you - they still have to do their school work.

They've been having tutoring alongside intense rehearsals and exploring the French city of Nice, where the competition is being held.

It's not all bad though, Yazmin said: "To be honest it's quite enjoyable because it's better than being sat in a classroom because we can talk to each other."

How are they feeling ahead of the show?

Some nerves before such a big performance are completely normal, and that's what Yazmin's feeling.

But Maisie told Newsround she's excited. She said: "I think we've done almost five, almost six months of heavy, hard-hitting rehearsing but I feel like now it's a little bit more real."

Hayla added: "We're getting more excited to show everyone how much hard work we've put into this."

"We've actually made friends with everyone"

This week, they've met the other contestants they'll be going up against, but there's no rivalry - just good vibes.

Yazmin told Newsround they've become good friends with Sep and Jasmijn from the Netherlands. She told us, "they're lovely".

The trio agreed their song is "so good" and they also love Zo茅 from France who will be defending the Junior Eurovision title for the country.

Freya, the UK's entry for Junior Eurovision in 2022, has been helping the girls with what she learned from the experience.

She told them to "enjoy it, live in the moment and if you fall over or something, just laugh!"
