Bustingorrytitan shiva: Huge new species of dinosaur discovered in Argentina

Titanosaur fossils have been found on every continent in the world except Antarctica!

Scientists have identified a huge new species of Titanosaur in Argentina.

Fossils were found in the Neuqu茅n Province in the west of the country.

It's thought the dino was nearly 30 metres long - that's around the length of two-and-a-half double decker buses!

It weighed a whopping 74 tonnes and is believed to have lived on earth more than 90 million years ago, during the Cretaceous period.

Scientists have named it Bustingorrytitan shiva - after the Hindu god of destruction - and say it's one of the biggest creatures ever discovered!

B. shiva is among the largest ever recorded Titanosaurs - the last surviving group of long-necked sauropods.

Titanosaur fossils have been found on every continent in the world except Antarctica!

However, it isn't the largest dino to be discovered so far - that prize belongs to fellow titanosaur Argentinosaurus, with an estimated weight starting at 77 tonnes!

They are believed to have also lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Argentina.
