Celtic make history with first SWPL title win
Celtic won their first Scottish Women's Premier League title this weekend thanks to a dramatic 90th-minute goal in Glasgow.
The last-minute shot saw the Hoops beat Hibernian 1-0, securing the all-important win needed to beat Rangers to the title.
Celtic and Rangers were both vying for the trophy, heading into their final matches on level points.
But with Celtic 16 ahead on goal difference, they knew all they needed was a win.
Celtic's victory was far from certain as they struggled against Hibs in Celtic Park on Sunday, while on the other side of the city Rangers were beating Partick Thistle 4-0.
But Amy Gallacher's crucial 90th-minute goal clinched their historic win.
The forward called it "the best day of my life".
"I was getting worried towards the end of the game.
"I was just thinking to myself, if I could get that one chance - and thankfully I managed to get it to the back of the net."
Head coach Ellena Sadiku said she would "never forget" their crowning moment.
"I'm very happy and so proud of the players. They deserve it so much.
"We really tried all the time and that's why I'm so proud."
