What happened at the 2024 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 World Championships?

The 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 World Championships are now over for another year.
Thousands of fans gathered for the huge event in the Hawaiian capital of Honolulu from the 16-18 August.
The competition also saw some of the world's best trainers come together to battle it out for top prizes and titles.
Competitors took part in trading card game tournaments, 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 Video Game Championships and 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 GO competitions, and 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 UNITE World Championships tournaments.

Twelve-year-old Harrison from the UK travelled to Hawaii for the World Championships.
He's been working on his skills over the last five years and now ranks highly among the junior players in both the UK and Europe.
Harrison was invited to the Championships where he was able to compete against other young players from all around the world and make new friends.
He told Newsround all about his experience there.
"It's just so fun meeting new people from all around the world - who I never would have met otherwise," said Harrison.
Who were the big winners?
Sakuya Ota from Japan was the top finisher in the junior division from the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 Trading Card Game tournament.
Meanwhile, Kevin Han from the US took the top spot in the junior division in the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 Video Game Championships tournament.
Yip Kai Cheng from Hong Kong was the overall winner in the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 GO tournament and team FENNEL from Japan were the winners in in the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 UNITE World Championships tournament.
Where will the Championships be held next?
The dates and locations for the 笔辞办茅尘辞苍 World Championships 2025 and 2026 have now been announced.
Next year's competition will be held in Anaheim, California from August 15 to 17.
2026 will see the event held in San Francisco, California from August 28 to 30.
