Whether you're a keen cultivator of landscaped lawns and blooming borders or the clueless owner of a window box, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ is hosting a free two-day garden event in Norwich to give everyone a helping hand.

The Forum's sprawling atrium will be transformed into a massive greenhouse with gorgeous garden displays, specialist plants on sale from Norfolk Nurseries' Network members and budding designers from Easton College ready to offer their ideas.

It's the fourth year the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Garden Design Event has been held and for the first time, on Friday, 25 and Saturday, 26 April a marquee will cover part of Millennium Plain to house an array of exhibits and activities.

If you've got a thorny issue of what to do with your garden, then you're invited to bring along a sketch or photo of your problem plot for a re-design, while wildlife lovers can discover how to nurture welcoming habitats.

The Norfolk Wildlife Trust will be offering free information and launching a new campaign, Wildlife In My Garden, and the RSPB's specially-designed garden will show what you can do to encourage birds.

Nature fans can also find out what lurks beneath the water with a spot of pond-dipping organised by South Norfolk District Council and the Broads Authority.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Norfolk presenter Andy Archer and his panel of gardeners will be broadcasting live from the event between 12 and 2pm on Saturday, and there will also be talks and demonstrations across both days.

The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Garden Design Event takes place at The Forum, Norwich, from 10am to 4pm on Friday, 25 and Saturday, 26 April, 2008. Free entry.
