Dancers In NeedDancers In Need is an event based on Strictly Come Dancing, which will see 12 presenters from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ in Norfolk learn how to dance. On Sunday, 9 November, 2008, the 12 dancers will battle it out in the grand final, which takes place at The Forum in Norwich. With help from the Miller Dance Centre and the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Norfolk will put on an evening of glitz, glamour and with a bit of luck, good dancing. Some of the new recruits needed some persuasion to strap on their dancing shoes - others couldn't wait for the opportunity. "I didn't need my arm twisting at all, I just can't wait to get into an outfit with sequins on," said Amelia Reynolds. "I've been looking for an excuse to dance for ages so doing it for charity is brilliant," she added. ProgressSo how have the ´óÏó´«Ã½ dancers been getting on?
Help playing audio/video Craig Revel HorwoodStrictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has been in Norwich promoting his autobiography All Glitter And Balls. Craig had lots of words of encouragement While in the city, the judge that everyone loves to hate gave the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Norfolk dancers some much needed advice. "A top tip on dancing is practice, practice, practice. If you don't put the work in, you will not get anything out of it and you will be publicly humiliated," said Craig. As for the current series of Strictly Come Dancing, Craig has a few inside tips on who he thinks will make the finals. "I saw a lot of potential in Austin Healey, he is way ahead of everyone else with his waltz," he said. "Rachel Stephens is incredible, I saw some of her training footage and that looked really hot," he added. The full line-up is: Amelia Reynolds - ´óÏó´«Ã½ Look East presenter Stephen Bumfrey - ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Norfolk presenter All profits from the event go to Children in Need. last updated: 07/11/2008 at 12:17 SEE ALSOYou are in: Norfolk > Entertainment > Arts, Film & Culture > Arts & Culture > Strictly Come Dancing waltzes into ´óÏó´«Ã½ Norfolk
