Get personal and ask C´óÏó´«Ã½'s Jake

Jake in the studio

Jake Humphrey loves talking about his life as a C´óÏó´«Ã½ presenter.

Having grown up in Norfolk he now works with the stars of showbiz, sport and now answers your questions.

Jake Humphrey grew up in Norwich, landed himself a job with C´óÏó´«Ã½ and is now the popular presenter of Sportsround.

Don't forget to look back at the questions other people have been asking and check out what Jake mentions in his fact file?

Hi Jake would you ever sing a hymn and sing it like a nightingale to Angellica?

Lily, age 7- Normanton

I am not sure Angellica is a nightingale kind of girl. I spent lots of time with Angellica when we did the Saturday show together and she was always was the last one down to breakfast in the mornings by a long way so I don't think she needs any help sleeping!

Hey Jake! I recently read that Simon often had to scrape gunge out of unwanted places (such as his bottom) after a Saturday Show gunging! Where is the weirdest place you've found gunge after being slimed?

Marissa, age 17 - Inner Leithen

Well Marissa let's just say that gunge gets everywhere! When you come off air you have to get from the studio to the dressing room before you can have a shower. It is the coldest, squelchiest and wettest few steps you will ever take - I don't recommend it!

You've met Mcfly, so who was the funniest of the four of them?

Alex, age 12 - Derry

I recently went on tour with Harry for Sport Relief. We went to India for a week to see where your money is making a difference and play some games of cricket. Although the trip was emotionally quite challenging the whole team did bond really well and Harry and I have stayed in touch - he is a good mate now.

Hey Jakey! I'm a huge Norwich fan too, do you think Worthy should go? Also what's your favourite shop in Norwich, do u lyk the new Chapelfield mall? I like Republic and Topshop.

Emma, age 14 - Norwich

Hi Emma. I can't make it back to Norwich that often but was home a few weeks ago. Yeah I think Chapelfield is great news for Norwich. You guys have way more options when it come to shopping - when I was a kid there was no decent shops! I have always loved Dogfish, Blue Jean Co and Philip Browne.

If you had a billion pounds what would you spend it on?

Juliet, age 9 - Comrie

I would make sure my family and I are financially secure, buy a sports car and then give well over half to charity. A split between Cancer Research, Age Concern and Comic Relief!

Who inspired you when you were young and did you follow in their footsteps?

Laura Pascoe, age 15 - Ecclefechan, Scotland

I was inspired by Johnny Vaughan as a young lad. Unfortunately he is less funny and groundbreaking now than he was 10 years ago. I really like presenters who totally re-write the rules as Dick n Dom did and as Davina on Big Brother has. I want to be the kind of presenter that takes the genre I present a few paces forwards. I would love to take sports presenting onto the next level.

What is a health food to have all the time but don't get bored of it?

Jake Russell, age 12 - Sitlingbourne

Mix it up mate. I love fruit and veg so eat loads of that and remember a little of what you want does you no harm at all!

Do you have a crush on Sophie (presenter) because you always flirt with her!

Sarah, age 12 - Liverpool

I have had a crush on Sophie since the first moment I met her Sarah. We both have partners otherwise we may have ended up together and who knows…..Maybe we could have been the first C´óÏó´«Ã½ marriage! Oh well! As it is we are just great mates, she is such a laugh and we hang out together all the time.

Would you risk anything or try something that you have never done before? Because I do Morris dancing would you try that?

Jordanne Harrison, age 13 - Liverpool

I so can't dance Jordanne, not even Morris dancing. However, don't be afraid to have a go at anything. I am a firm believer that it is better to have a go and fail than not have a go at all!

If you had a choice of going anywhere on holiday, where would you go, and why?

Sarah, age 10 - Gainsborough

I am getting married in 2007 and planning where to go on a honeymoon is very stressful. I want to do a safari and then a week's beach holiday……..that will cost though! I did go to an amazing Island called Ischia a couple of years ago. It was the most relaxing week of my life!
