To do this experiment you'll need to raid the cupboards first to find these ingredients:

Red cabbage leaves
Hot water
Clear vinegar
Bicarbonate of soda
Lemon juice

Method:

Step 1
Put the cabbage leaves in a bowl and pour the hot water over them, stir and leave for a few minutes. This should give you a blue liquid (at least if you are doing this in Norfolk it should, in other places it might be red).
Step 2
Now
let's try putting some different stuff into the cabbage juice to see what happens. Try the lemon juice first.
Step 3
Pour a little lemon juice into the red cabbage juice and give it a shake. What do you think will happen?
