Have Your Say now with 大象传媒i where you live.

30th March
Today I want to tell you about my school life. I鈥檓 in year ten, which is my fourth year at Wayland Community High school. The school is really good. The head teacher who came at the start of the year is brilliant, he鈥檚 done a lot for the school. For my GCSEs, I鈥檓 doing the usual curriculum.

I could have also done Child Development but I dropped it so I could spend time concentrating on my musical that I鈥檝e written. Our school is in a pretty rural area, which means we don鈥檛 get as much funding as we should do.

But I think we do well for what we have. The atmosphere is nice and so are the pupils and teachers. Plus the amount of support the school has given me is amazing and I respect them for that.

1st April
Today has been highly amusing because it鈥檚 April Fool's Day. Today I thought I鈥檇 tell you a bit about my friends. Ever since I moved here I鈥檝e been hanging around with just about the same group. They are the greatest.

They really understand my music and although they get annoyed when I have to go to all these rehearsals they support me and that鈥檚 why I appreciate them. Also, my best friend is great and I love her to pieces. She鈥檚 coming with me to see Sir Tim Rice, for moral support.

2nd April
I鈥檝e got a nasty sore throat and a gig next Monday. So I 鈥榤 trying to get it better by not talking too much. I鈥檓 doing well in my job, I鈥檓 supposed to be working tomorrow night. On Friday the TV crew are coming in school to do some filming. Then I鈥檓 going out in the evening.

8th April
Today I went to London to meet Sir Tim Rice. He was a really nice man and we had a brilliant day. He gave us a lot of good advice about my musical. I went with my mum, step dad, my friend, my teachers and Elli Chapman from Creative Arts East.

At 4.30pm we met up with Gillian Shephard and had tea and biscuits when Sir Tim arrived. He was really surprised that I had had enough commitment to write the musical. It went beyond my wildest dreams to be able to say to him: this is my musical and I鈥檇 like to invite you to come and see it when it鈥檚 performed. It was a good day and I got lots of experience and made some more contacts. I owe Gillian Shephard a lot of thanks.

9th April
I鈥檝e got a really bad cold and a cough at the moment and things are getting really busy. I鈥檝e got science course work to do as well as loads of other homework.
