School ReportYou are in: Northamptonshire > School Report > 大象传媒 News School Report The busy newsroom at Campion School 大象传媒 News School ReportCampion School in Bugbrooke, is one of around 150 across the country who with the help of the 大象传媒, are making their own news. It's the culmination of months of work, learning what goes into making the news we watch, hear and read. Pupils becoming presenters, reporters, news readers and editors. Classrooms were turned into newsrooms as the 11-14 year olds at Campion spent the day researching, writing and reading their very own version of what should make the news. From a heated debate on whether mobile phones should be banned in schools, to interviews with school sporting stars. The students learnt how to prepare for an interview, how to ask tricky questions and how to edit it, all to hit a very tight deadline. Live on air with Holly A group of students grilled their head teacher on bullying and the number of tests pupils have to sit. It wasn't all serious stuff though the school's stars got a chance to shine. The PE teacher who's a Women's rugby international and 18 year old Holly Avil, a sixth form student who's combining her school work with 22 hours a week training as a Champion triathlete.
