Comment: Reply to Brian: Our target was the Ayr Rock, to have a look around the lighthouse,we wanted to stretch our legs,after paddling for about 4hrs. We were only there for about 10 to15mins.and in that short time the sea level rose by about two feet.
We were lucky on the return, as it was slack water,for about twenty mins.helping us to make a safe landing on the shore,to have lunch,then return to Killough.
