Comment: I too went to Sunday School that fateful day.When I came home,my mother went to a neighbour's house to listen to the radio to hear the famous PM speech. As an 11 year old I suppose I too thought it was something of excitement. I lived in Ballymena then and my memory of that afternoon was the thunder,lightning and torrential rain. I remember my parents and grown-up friends saying that it was the wrath of God because the war had started. Memories!!!
