Comment: It was a delight to hear Adrian Horsman's distinctive voice again and his great story. My family always remarked on how polite Adrian was and what a gentleman he was. It is great to hear that he has found his true vocation and we wish him all the very best for the future.

With his French dictionary, a few days growth and a decent bed to sleep in
Fitzdare, Adrian's bicycle, takes a well earned rest  The bike is loaded with water as Adrian needed to carry at least six litres per day.

On the road in Algeria on the northern edge of the Sahara, Christmas Eve, 1992.  Not much further...
Camping on the evening of Wednesday the 30th of December, 1992 - between Ghardia and El Golea.  It was so cold here that Adrian's water froze overnight
