Bertie writes...
In 1970 I went to RNIB College in England for training. I went on to work for the ICL computer company in Castlereagh from 1970 until 1975. In 1977 I started with Short Brothers making components for aircraft. I was specially trained on a capstan lathe and I really loved this job.

Comment: I know Bertie because he is my neighbour. Bertie is a very out going bubbly person and very independent with the help of his careers and Patricia who looks after him.
