| MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
A six-year-old girl has met a pen pal from Canada after finding a message in a bottle at West Strand Beach in Portrush. Sophie Scott was looking for something to throw for her dog to chase when she found the bottle with something interesting inside. It turned out the bottle had drifted more than two thousand miles across the Atlantic from Newfoundland in Canada. She and her mum, Terry, took up the story with Sarah Brett.
