The Male Of The
Species
by Margaret Donnelly
听
They are known as the male of the species, but
do they really have a clue? on how to understand women, you
know what I say is quite true.
听
They think the world revolves around them, if
it doesn鈥檛 they go into a sulk, throw on the outdoor jacket,
and saunter off down to the pub.
听
Us women go to a lot of trouble to try to look
our best,
don鈥檛 ask for an honest opinion, the answer given you
might regret.
听
We spend two hours in a hairdressing salon having
our crowning glory restyled for the cause, though sometimes
we needn鈥檛 have bothered, when they quip 鈥淏ut I
liked it the way it was鈥!
听
Men used to be known as breadwinners, these days
that is termed as passe, for women are now out in the workforce,
giving them a run for their money each day.
听
And when we are having a fat day; having squeezed
into something a bit tight! we really don鈥檛 need unhelpful
comments, to remind us of our dietry plight.
听
And as he sits reading the paper, maybe watching
the sport on TV, don鈥檛 even try to start a conversation,
his brain can鈥檛 cope with two subjects you see!
听
When the majority get behind the wheel of a car, they
like to think that they own the road, turn into the Proverbial
Boy Racer, obviously having forgotten their Highway Code.
听
They are under some misapprehension, womens driving
skills leave a lot to be desired, but if they could see what
we see, their behaviour is definitely not, to be admired.
听
I also think some are under the impression, that
women can鈥檛 function on there own, I hate to be the one
to dispel the myth, we can cope better, in a no male zone.
听
Now girls, we can take them or we can leave them,
but alas at the end of the day, The future of mankind without
them, would disappear and fade away.
听
So you see they have their uses, that鈥檚
the only thing we can鈥檛 reproduce, Without the little
Spermatoza, we really need their fertilising juice.
听
So can I say to all you men out there, who think
you can go it alone Look after the lady in your life, Or you
might find that your bird has just flown!
