Gerry Adams Interview
President of Sinn Fein, Gerry Adams, kindly shares his passion for literature and poetry.听 Telling us about how his love of reading led him to have to wear glasses.听 Because as a child he sneakily read books at night time, lit only by the outside street lamps, thus weakening his eyes.听 He shares his favourite books from 'The Colour Purple' to 'The Pocket Book of Common Birds of Ireland', and throws in some quotes from Patrick Kavanagh's poetry for good measure.
