Transport disruption

Flooding can make roads impassable and force train companies to cancel services. To find out which roads are closed visit our traffic news service which is updated 24 hours a day.

For disruption to trains, either call National Rail Enquiries on 0845 45 46 47 or visit the National Rail website.

If you spot a problem with roads and drains early on, you can phone the Highways Agency, who will advise you on what to do next. Their number is 0845 3669507.
