| | Community theatre company York Shakespeare Project has set itself the ambitious task of staging the Henry VI plays in the Guildhall in York this Summer, and the three plays, edited to be performed in two halves, will be performed at this historic venue between July 12th and July 22nd.听

Prior to directing this play, I worked extensively with Yorkshire-based touring company Icabod and have also directed for the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Theatre in the Mill in Bradford, Harrogate Theatre and many others.听 Having put together last Summer's production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in Rowntree Park for YSP, I was invited back this year for this mammoth undertaking, and this time I'm keeping a blog of my progress....
