But just how useful is having wireless internet technology in public places?
Isn't it amazing how technology can enhance our lives. After all, where would we be without the wonder that is the modern mobile phone. Well if you never tire of hearing tinny snippets of famous tunes, or Peter Kay, blaring out from a nearby mobile, you can now relive that moment every time someone comes to the door thanks to a WiFi enabled doorbell. ![]() Wires? Ha! we laugh at them... Then you have the WiFi Rabbit (no we're not making this up). A device that connects to the internet and reads the latest news to you. And there's the magic phrase WiFi, it's seen everywhere from trains to cafes, but just what does it mean, and how useful is it? To answer these questions 大象传媒 Radio York's Breakfast team sent report Matt Seymour to a WiFi equipped cafe, with a challenge: to video an interview and get that video on this page before the Breakfast show finished and without returning to base. Assuming he was successful, the video should play using the link at the top of the page. last updated: 21/06/07 You are in: North Yorkshire > 大象传媒 Radio York > 大象传媒 Radio York Features > Working away with Wi-Fi
