The seventh Beached Festival was happening in Scarborough, with a whole host of bands I was just itching to watch and interview.  The crowd at the festival It was my biggest challenge to date - having to arrange and conduct filmed interviews, with visuals good enough for TV and audio strong enough for me to use on the radio show. I went to report on the local stage on the Thursday - slight problem when I got there though as there was no stage! But all the acts were still around and provided some fantastic audio interviews for me to use on that nights show, live from the Scarborough studio - very exciting! Audio and Video links on this page require Realplayer Then the weekend finally came - and there was sunshine! That kept my spirits up, in addition to some amazing assistance from the Beached Festival crew. I interviewed the likes of InMe, Them Next Door, Imma, Livingston, The Officers, and my favourites The Pistolas.
The weekend was just amazing - tiring and sometimes stressful, but it was so much fun to be able to speak to musicians and the people behind the scenes and have a great time with them. I also had the best cameraman I could have hoped for in my fellow Blast reporter Dez. This week I also fitted in going down to a Grinny Grandad gig, which I'll be reviewing next week, and I was in contact with someone who I hope to do an article on - so it's all go!
