Swim 21 Accreditation is a 'Quality mark' - it recognises the clubs that are committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of their members. The club has approximately 300 members. Head coach is Sam Greetham, who is often called away for international coaching duties. He is ably assisted by coaches Mike Squires and Jon Cheshire, who ensure a high quality of training is produced and maintained. Club night is every Thursday at 1800 and takes place at Scarborough Indoor Pool, Ryndle Crescent in Scarborough.听 Training also takes place most mornings and evenings of the week.听 The club hopes to move to a brand new pool in the new few years which will be built as part of the Scarborough Sands Redevelopment project. This is seen as a positive step forward in the club's development and paves the way for swimming excellence in the town of Scarborough for the foreseeable future. last updated: 06/11/07 You are in: North Yorkshire > Sport > Features > Scarborough Swimming Club |
