"Nadia Pyramid reporting for 大象传媒 North Yorkshire!" Anyone want to have a guess where I鈥檓 from? I get that a lot from my friends back home in sunny Scarborough. I鈥檝e always had a passion for the arts, especially writing and acting, so watch out J.K.

I love being by the beach and watching the waves with cups of Earl Grey tea. Typical seaside junkie!

Music is everything to me. I honestly couldn鈥檛 get through the day without it. I think it is such an inspirational thing to have and I really enjoy going to live gigs and scouting out new tunes. I like to play around with the instruments I have at home: guitar, bass, piano and drums and at least pretend I am any good at them. I think if my brother and I tried hard enough we could be the British White Stripes!

When I鈥檓 not at University being a tree-hugging environmental scientist, I am usually found scoffing a Chris de Burger at the music caf茅 I work at. My reputation there is known for obsessively requesting 80s play lists, beating the boss at Guitar Hero tournaments and well, let鈥檚 just say I am the official food tester. Wink wink.

Not quite The O.C

I love extreme sports. Skiing, snowboarding, surfing and cheerleading are my main crazes. I am also a travel fanatic. It is my mission to go to as many different places in the world as possible. I just want to experience everything there is out there, and not miss out on anything.

For now I am ecstatic to be North Yorkshire鈥檚 Blast Reporter. My main goal is to show the rest of the county what a diverse range of exciting things are going on around North Yorkshire this summer. No more Heartbeat, farming county stereotype for us. It鈥檚 all happening here, and I know I鈥檓 going to have the best time capturing it all for everyone to enjoy. Watch this space.
