Where are you based?

Nottingham.

Who are your influences?

My music is largely influenced by the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Paul Weller (early and late). Although more of it comes from the 90s Brit Pop era such as Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene and, earlier than that, The Stone Roses.

I like to think the sound of my influences comes across in my music but you'll have to make your own mind up.

Who would be a dream band collaborator and why?

Keith Richards. He has created some of the greatest music ever not to mention the stories that go with it!

Who are the most influential figures in your life?

Besides my mates, who are more like my brothers, I would have to say my CDs.

What would you give up to get signed?

I think if you're not willing to give up everything you're wasting your time.

What was your best gig and why?

The best gig would have to be my first one which was at Junktion 7. I was so scared, but after the first 30 seconds of playing I was in my own world... a world I seem to be in every time I play a gig.

Best band in Nottingham and why?

Mint Ive. I've known the band for a couple of years and been to see them play all over the country... It never gets boring.

Does Nottingham offer you enough opportunities?

I'd have to say no. There is a lot of talent in Nottingham and not as many opportunities for it to get out there unlike other cities like Manchester.

What are you listening to at the moment?

I'm listening to a lot of different artists at the moment but none more than the genius of Bob Dylan.

In a fire, which album would you rescue?

Rolling Stones, Exile On main Street.

What's the perfect night out in Nottingham?

Friday night at The Approach (12 - 18 Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG1 6DQ) between 9.00pm and 10.00pm, and then wherever the wind blows.
