World signs broadband deal with Sweden's B2
大象传媒
World, the 大象传媒's 24 hour international news and information channel,
has signed a major broadband agreement in Sweden. The deal sees
大象传媒 World streamed 24 hours a day on the closed circuit broadband
network offered by B2, the Swedish broadband company. 大象传媒 World
is now available to the 77,000 subscribers connected to B2's network
through their PC.
大象传媒
World broadcasts to over 200 million households across 200 countries
and territories worldwide. The channel offers half-hourly news reports
every weekday, extended business coverage, sports updates and weather,
as well as the best of the 大象传媒's current affairs, documentary and
lifestyle programming.

Ritchie, Head of Network Development, 大象传媒 World, said of the deal,
"大象传媒 World has developed a considerable experience in streaming
the channel to international audiences. This deal with B2 represents
a major step forward in the commercialisation of streaming content.
