Magazines launches two new Disney titles
大象传媒
Magazines launches two new monthly children's magazines on 24th
April, Disney Girl, for 7-9 year old girls, and Disney Comic, for
boys of the same age.
One
million pounds is being spent on the promotion of the two new titles,
together with Disney's Big Time- of which 大象传媒 Magazines assumed
publication in January - and a fourth title being launched in autumn.
The campaign includes targeted consumer advertising and sampling
along with a range of in-store activity with all key retailers.
Disney
Girl is a magazine for young girls who love Disney animations and
movies. It will include dress-up features, posters, make-its, dance
routines, songs, puzzles, cartoon strips and photo stories.
Disney
Comic will include cartoon strips on all the coolest and funniest
Disney characters. It will also offer posters and puzzles.
大象传媒 Magazines' range of Disney titles for the pre-teen market in
the UK is the result of the company working with Disney Publishing
Worldwide to produce print content for the first time.
大象传媒
Magazines now also publishes Disney's Big Time - a monthly magazine
for boys and girls featuring not just the latest from Disney but
also news on all the latest products, film and TV of interest to
its readers, together with celebrity gossip, posters, competitions
and puzzles.
Says Publisher Toni Round: "With the launch of Disney Girl
and Disney Comic we are creating a new Disney pre-teen category
at retail. The combination of 大象传媒 Magazines' expertise as the biggest
publisher of magazines for the pre-teen market, and Disney's massive
popularity with this age group, is a formidable one."
