Teletubbies 聟 here, there, and now Everywhere!

Following the tremendous success of Teletubbies, which can now be seen literally everywhere around the world, 大象传媒 Worldwide brings a new series from Ragdoll - Teletubbies Everywhere - to this year's MipTV programme market (15-19 April 2002).

Already premiered in the UK on the new 大象传媒 pre-school digital channel CBeebies, Teletubbies Everywhere (52 x 10') is the result of the unprecedented international success of Teletubbies. Teletubbies Everywhere complements the original Teletubbies format and is for the very youngest audience, bringing even more joy to children already familiar with Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po.

"Teletubbies has always been a conversation between the characters and the audience," commented Annette Hind, Senior Brand Manager, 大象传媒 Worldwide, "and Teletubbies Everywhere is a new interpretation of that conversation."

"Teletubbies Everywhere celebrates children's natural desire to learn. The programmes look deceptively simple on screen, but the real action is happening inside the child's head," added Anne Wood, Founder and Creative Director of Ragdoll.

Teletubbies Everywhere is a funny and very simple new format of special 10-minute 'treat-sized' programmes combining the irresistible comedy of Teletubbies, the graphic language of interactive technology and the visual simplicity of a baby's board book. Teletubbies Everywhere presents first concepts as a series of simple games and spatial patterns on coloured backgrounds with live-action inserts of young children growing up in different parts of the world.

Teletubbies and Teletubbies Everywhere have been co-created by Ragdoll's Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport.
