Claudia Roden
Claudia Roden was born and brought up in Cairo. She finished her education in Paris before moving to London. Since her childhood she has travelled extensively throughout the Mediterranean. She was married to an Englishman and has three grown-up children whom she has inspired with her love of food and cooking. Her other books include A New Book of Middle Eastern Food, Sainsbury's Middle Eastern Cooking, Mediterranean Cookery and the award-winning The Book of Jewish Food.
