´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide Live Events team announce national pre-school show theatre tour

´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide today announced the dates for the first ever CBeebies at the Theatre show. The 45 venue national tour will open in Dartford this March.

Ìý

Following hot on the heels of a packed arena tour this winter with CBeebies Live!, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide have produced a brand new musical family adventure for local theatres across the country.

Ìý

Written and directed by Martin Waller, the show Let's Play, encourages children to adopt a more eco-friendly approach to life in a fun and entertaining stage show.

Ìý

The show features some of CBeebies' best-loved characters including PC Plum, Jenny Jumble, Postman Pat and Jess, Boo, Bill & Ben, the Jakers and the Koala Brothers, Tamba from Tikkabilla and Tommy Zoom and launches on 28.03.2008 on a mammoth 30 week tour, performing over 200 shows in 45 venues.

Ìý

General Manager of Live Entertainment, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide Craig Stanley said: "Our ambition for CBeebies at the Theatre was to take some of the elements of the arena tour and transfer it to a more intimate experience for children.

Ìý

"We are taking the show around the country to ensure that as many children as possible get to see their favourite characters up-close. For parents, the recycling theme has educational benefit packed into this entertaining show.

Ìý

"Let's Play has something for everyone and we have high hopes for its success now that tickets have gone on sale."

CBeebies at the theatre – Let's Play story synopsis
Let's Play is a fun-filled musical adventure which encourages children toÌýdiscover the funÌýin recyclingÌýthose everyday things that we throw away.

Ìý

Familiar face in the form of PC Plum from Balamory calls on his friend Jenny Jumble who has invented a talking recycling bin. The talking bin takes everyday leftover things and turns them into something useful and fun.

Ìý

With a little imagination and the bin's help, Jenny Jumble and PC Plum sing and dance their way through all sorts of fun-filled adventures with their CBeebies friends.

Ìý

They find Boo in the jungle, charter a boat with Tamba from Tikkabilla, ride a runaway train with Postman Pat and Jess, and discover compost with Bill & Ben before and joining a rock and roll band with the Jakers!

Ìý

However, while our CBeebies friends are having fun, Polluto is plotting to ruin the day. He hates recycling and loves rubbish, so is determined to stop the recycling bin from working.

Ìý

Thankfully, Tommy Zoom – CBeebies' favourite eco-superhero - isn’t far away. But, even with the help of the Koala Brothers, will he be able to catch the dastardly Polluto in time and save the day?
