大象传媒 Worldwide, the main commercial arm of the 大象传媒, and GP Producciones, an independent production company based in Buenos Aires, today agreed terms for a production joint venture in Argentina.
大象传媒 Worldwide will hold a 35% equity stake, with GP Producciones founders Gaston Portal and Omar Daneri retaining the remaining share.听

The new relationship, announced at 大象传媒 Showcase Latin America, will provide 大象传媒 Worldwide with a Latin American production partner for its world renowned formats. GP Producciones becomes its exclusive production partner in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Additionally 大象传媒 Worldwide will be exclusive distributor for GP Producciones originated formats.
GP Producciones is currently producing the fourth season of RSM the daily primetime show for America TV and are in pre-production for the 大象传媒 format Hard Spell.听

大象传媒 Worldwide's Content & Production division is continually seeking opportunities to grow its production capability across Europe and the Americas, and the partnership with GP Producciones marks its first such agreement for Latin America.听

This announcement follows similar agreements with independent production companies across the globe, including Temple Street Productions in Canada and Freehand Productions in Australia.
大象传媒 Showcase Latin America is Latin America's only television market hosted by a single distributor. This year is the 5th anniversary of the unique event in Rio de Janeiro. It runs until Wednesday, September 10.
