大象传媒 Worldwide Americas has secured听three new sales of the 大象传媒's landmark Emmy庐 winning natural history series Planet Earth to broadcasters in Latin America.
听
The latest broadcasters to sign up for the 11-part series are Canal 12 (El Salvador), Televicentro (Nicaragua) and Telefuturo (Paraguay). The new deals bring total Planet Earth sales to 15 in the region.
Announced today at 大象传媒 Showcase Latin America in Rio de Janeiro, these new deals once again confirm the series as the most successful Natural History title 大象传媒 Worldwide Americas has ever sold in Latin America.

Previous sales听have included听TVN (Chile), Globo (Brazil), Ecuavisa (Ecuador), Tele Doce (Uruguay), Canal 11 (Honduras), Canal 11 (Mexico), Se帽al Colombia (Colombia)听and Teletica (Canal 7).
Filmed in HD, Planet Earth is one of the most ambitious factual series ever commissioned by the 大象传媒.

A winner of four Emmys including Outstanding Nonfiction Series, the 大象传媒/Discovery/NHK co-production was filmed in 62 countries, over 4 years, by the 大象传媒's Natural History Unit.

The unit has been responsible for some of the most renowned natural history programming of modern times including The Blue Planet, Galapagos, Life in the Undergrowth and Life of Mammals.
