Top Gear shows no sign of slowing down after 大象传媒 Worldwide announced that Russia is the latest country to make a local version of the hit motoring show.
Russian production company MIR Reality Production will make 15 adrenalin-fuelled episodes for the private federal broadcaster REN TV.
This is the biggest deal 大象传媒 Worldwide has ever done with REN TV and the first production partnership with MIR Reality.
Who will be the Clarksonov, Hammondchenko and Mayovski of Russia?听 MIR Reality is currently looking for the show's most important element, the three presenters.

Whoever they are, Russian audiences can look forward to strong opinions, daring stunts and comical escapades by the three motor heads.听

The opportunities are limitless: off roading in the Siberian tundra, racing around Red Square and testing vintage Ladas.
Anton Nazarov, Director of Communications at REN TV, said:
"The British version of Top Gear has already proved its popularity in Russia and we think a local version will make a big impact. This is a great opportunity for us and 大象传媒 Worldwide because Russia can be a difficult market to access.
听
"We are looking forward to working closely with 大象传媒 Worldwide and hope our version of the show will become as popular as the original."

REN TV's own local version will premier off the back of series 10, 11 and 12 of the original Top Gear at the end of the year.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have been gracing televisions all over the world as the UK series has been broadcast in over 100 countries including Australia, USA and France.
Adam Waddell, Managing Director for Top Gear at 大象传媒 Worldwide, said: "Top Gear has had quite a following in Russia for some time and of course Top Gear magazine's Russian edition has been a great success since it launched in 2004.
听
"So, it's only appropriate that the Russian audience are getting their own version of the show. The trio of Russian presenters and the scenery available will allow us to make a show that feels very Russian whilst being unmistakably Top Gear."
Australia recently launched their own version of the top motoring programme. The Antipodeans' version of Top Gear, made by 大象传媒 Worldwide's production partner Freehand, premiered on channel SBS in September to an impressive 933,000 viewers.
