´óÏó´«Ã½ Motion Gallery has diversified its portfolio of specialist sports content by agreeing a partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to represent its entire archive of cricket programming.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Motion Gallery, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide's clip licensing business, is already a gateway to more than 70,000 hours of the most iconic sports footage in the world. The agreement with the England and Wales Cricket Board makes ´óÏó´«Ã½ Motion Gallery the exclusive global representative of an archive that features all England home Test, One-day & Twenty20 matches right up to the most recent tours and includes 64 separate tours of England by countries including Australia, India, South Africa and the West Indies.
This opens the door to footage of cricket legends past and present including: Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Ian Botham, Sir Viv Richards, Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff.
Clients will have access to some best known moments in sporting history such as The 1981 Ashes Series where Ian Botham performed heroically, Malcolm Marshall batting one-handed or more recent footage of Shane Warne and his 'ball of the century' against Mike Gatting in 1993. Also available is the 2005 npower Ashes Series – arguably the greatest series ever that England won and Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff’s amazing performances that made him the man of the series.
