´óÏó´«Ã½ Magazines is to launch a new monthly pre-school title, CBeebies Special on 28th October 2009. The unique one-off special gift editions will shine the spotlight on a different CBeebies programme in each issue.
CBeebies Special has been created in response to the incredible variety and range of programming on the CBeebies channel. Each gift edition will focus on a new programme or a popular brand and encourage parents and children to explore their current favourites in a one-off format. Each magazine will feature an amazing free gift and is bursting with things to do and facts to find out.
Pauline Cooke, Publisher, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Pre-school magazines says: "CBeebies Special has been created to allow us to react quickly to the current trends in pre-school programming. The fantastic array of programmes on the CBeebies channel allows us to create a magazine that enables parents and children to carry on learning and exploring the world through their favourite CBeebies friends."
3rd & Bird will feature in the first gift edition which goes on sale on 28th October. The issue comes with a free Muffin play set complete with a toy Muffin, nest and blanket plus a sing-along DVD. The November issue of CBeebies Special will see Christmas come early with new CBeebies character Wibbly Pig, which includes a cute Wibbly soft toy.
Priced at £3.50, each CBeebies Special comes with a free gift and stickers to use throughout the magazine. It is the latest addition to the successful portfolio of popular pre-school titles, including CBeebies Weekly, CBeebies Art and CBeebies Animals.
