´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide, the commercial arm of the ´óÏó´«Ã½, has recruited Robert Nashak as EVP of Digital Entertainment, to oversee its gaming strategy and to develop new opportunities across a wide range of gaming platforms. Reporting to John Smith, Chief Executive of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide, Robert will be based in LA and will lead the company in broadening the digital entertainment business and gaming initiatives.Â
Robert joins ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide from Electronic Arts (EA), where he was VP with strategic and operational responsibility for EA's social gaming group. He previously led production for EA's Casual Studios and was responsible for console, handheld and PC game development. Prior to working at EA, Robert was VP and General Manager of Yahoo! Games, one of the world's largest online gaming portals. He also worked as SVP for mobile entertainment publisher, Glu Mobile, where he was responsible for creative direction and product development. Earlier in his career, Robert held key positions at Acclaim Entertainment, Vivendi Games and Disney Online, where he gained the essential skills required to produce online and retail games on multiple platforms.  Â
