´óÏó´«Ã½ Entertainment reveals the Nordic region's favourite British comedies in December

Unbeknown to viewers of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Entertainment in the Nordic region, audiences have been casting a vote for most popular British comedy on the channel since launch in December 2008, simply by tuning in and enjoying the show. After two years of laughter, the top 20 will be revealed in a special week of programming in December.

The top 20 programmes will be decided by total viewers' ratings figures. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Entertainment audiences' team have been crunching numbers and analysing data to discover the most-watched comedy programmes on the channel since December 2008.

Starting on Monday 27th December at 20.30, four 30 minute episodes will play out each night at the same time starting at number 20 and counting down each weeknight until the top four are revealed on Friday 31st December. The ratings race is still on and the team will keep compiling the figures until all data is captured. No titles have yet been disclosed but the countdown promises to deliver some side splitting moments of mirth to keep the post Christmas day blues at bay.

However, it's possible the list may include a mix of classic and more contemporary titles. Will the final 20 include perennial favourites like the slapstick 'Allo 'Allo and critically acclaimed Fawlty Towers? Or will the new wave of sketch shows and sitcoms steal their thunder?

The only way to find out which ´óÏó´«Ã½ Entertainment comedies tickled the Nordic region's funny bones the most in the last two years is by tuning in to the channel in December when the full list is revealed.
