A branded block of ´óÏó´«Ã½ HD programming is now available in Brazil following an exclusive deal between ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide, the commercial arm of the ´óÏó´«Ã½, and SKY Brazil.
The deal marks the first time high definition content from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ has aired in a branded channel environment in Latin America, and is a major strategic development for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ HD block, featuring a selection of the broadcaster's most popular programmes, is available exclusively to subscribers of the Brazilian operator on Mondays to Fridays on SKY channel 246 until 4th March 2011.

´óÏó´«Ã½ HD offers the best British and international high-definition content with a line-up of multi-award-winning documentaries, entertainment and arts programming. The programme line up in Brazil includes the critically-acclaimed travel series Michael Palin's New Europe and Around the World in 20 years, the documentary series True Stories, and Space Age: The Story NASA, a history of space exploration. Also joining the schedule are Indian Food Made Easy, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, 1000 Roman Skeletons, True Horror and Edward VIII: The Nazi King.
With this new deal, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Worldwide now broadcasts in sixteen countries in Latin America: Mexico, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil.
