is launching two interactive TV services for Digital Satellite viewers
for a totally comprehensive video round up of every game from the
tournament, a choice of live matches and all the action on and off
the pitch from England in Japan and Korea. Football fan heaven!
During
live matches...
Sky
Digital viewers should press the Red key on their remote control
when the "大象传媒i" icon appears on-screen to enter the interactive
service. A menu bar will appear along the top of the screen with
options linked to the colour fasttext keys on the remote control.
路
The Red menu key offers alternative Audio streams from the 大象传媒's
world renowned commentary pundits; choose 大象传媒 Radio Five Live commentators,
or select "No Commentary" to get a real feel for the terrace
atmosphere with stadium sound.
路 The Green key shows picture-in-picture Highlights from
the current match which allow you to catch up if you come in late
or see that goal mouth drama again, at the same time as keeping
pace with the game.
路 The Blue key presents a Stats menu with live updated facts
and figures from the match, such as possession, corners won and
fouls conceded - perfect for trivia buffs.
路 The Yellow key takes you through to Extra with either live
footage from another group match or Analysis with a unique "behind
the goal" high-level view of the game for a tactical look at
play.
Analysis
Press
the Yellow key to reveal two video screens side by side, showing
the live match and "behind the goal" high-level pictures
of the pitch, for a coach's-eye view of how the game unfolds tactically,
including team formation and movement of players.
Fans
can send in their own expert opinion by email or SMS which will
appear live on screen, and we'll be asking specific talking point
questions throughout the game such as "whether Eriksson's 4-4-2
formation is working for England".
For
a thinking fan's look at which players and teams will make a difference
this summer, Analysis is ideal.
Extra
Four
"clashing" group matches which the 大象传媒 has rights to later
in the tournament look set to be televised simultaneously through
the Extra option on the 大象传媒i interactive menu bar.
Sky
Digital viewers should press the Yellow key during the game to switch
between the two matches uniquely through 大象传媒i.

will be screening every minute of every match of the World Cup with
all the goals from all the games, interactive Talk Forums, plus
repeats of every England and Ireland game.

How
to access it
Outside
of live 大象传媒 football broadcasts, Digital Satellite viewers should
press the Text button on the remote control to access the 大象传媒i-bar
which appears along the bottom of the screen. A prompt will appear
requesting users to press Select on the handset to enter the 大象传媒i
World Cup Zone.
If
you're a first timer with interactive TV, don't worry 聳 we've
designed the service so all the instructions you'll need appear
on-screen to walk you through to the action you want.
The
"homepage" for the 大象传媒i World Cup Zone is a Multiscreen
showing three mini video screens at once alongside a quick guide
to what's on now and the schedule for the next games.
Once
you're through to the Multiscreen, take a look at what's on, scroll
down to the screen you want using the Arrow keys and press Select
to watch it in full screen. Or if you can't decide, watch all three!

England
aficionados will be in their element with 大象传媒i's exclusive service
dedicated to the England team on and off the field.
We'll
be showing the most up-to-date interviews with Sven Goran Eriksson,
press conferences, video player profiles, news and views from Korea
and Japan and those all important full repeats of England and Ireland
matches at a sensible hour!
We'll
be showing the build up to England games, taking a look around the
stadiums and giving living room supporters a real flavour of the
atmosphere and tension in Asia. In fact, you could almost be there
yourself!
The
England only service is the most comprehensive package for every
minute of the action and it's available at all times on the Multiscreen.

Talk
Forums
Following
the 大象传媒 World Cup highlights programme every evening on 大象传媒 ONE
the interactive Talk Forum will open its doors through digital TV,
on 大象传媒 Radio Five Live and video-streamed live on the internet at

to host a full hour discussion for fans with 大象传媒 pundits.
Between
8.00pm and 9.00pm every night of the tournament, fans can send in
their emails and SMS messages to the studio to get their views aired
live on air, get it off their chest and share their gripes with
other viewers. Fan therapy at its best.

The
大象传媒i World Cup Zone is the only place to catch every minute of the
action with every kick of every game.
We'll
be broadcasting every match played in the tournament through the
Multiscreen service, with details of upcoming games posted from
3.00pm each day and running at two hourly intervals.
We'll
also be screening edited highlights programmes with all the goals
and drama from across the tournament in concentrated format.
