Big
Buzz Battle of the Bands
As
part of this years Big Buzz @ Cardiff Festival , Total Music Wales
is giving the opportunity of a lifetime to one lucky band.
As part of the line up, all those budding chart toppers in the country
will be able to compete for a slot on the Big Buzz stage and will
have the chance to strut their stuff like true stars.
Forget
Nasty Nigel and Wicked Waterman, our panel of judges are pussy cats
in comparison. The wannabe celebs will have to perform in front
of a panel of five judges in order to secure their place on the
main stage.
The panel will include the likes of Kevin Hughes and John Lenney,
大象传媒 Radio Wales Djs, and Joe Gibb who has worked with bands Catatonia
and the Super Furry Animals.
"The
Battle of The Bands is a fantastic way of supporting local talent.
To have the opportunity of performing at such an event is brilliant,"
says Shah, project co-ordinator at Total Music Wales.
"It's
exciting to have this extra element to the Big Buzz and to be able
to support the local community in this way," says events producer
and co-ordinator Alison Quinn.
Battle
of The Bands auditions will be held on 29 June the Camelot Suite,
Salubrious Passage, Swansea, starting at 10.30am and running through
until 5.30pm.

Radio Wales and Total Music Wales are determined to make this an
event to remember and will be helping the winning band in more ways
than one.
As part of their dedication to the winning team Total Music Wales
will be giving them advice on a wide range of subjects that will
hopefully prolong their careers in the music industry, such as networking,
marketing and promotional advice.
