Neena
Nerkar to present major tv series
Neena Nerkar has been named as presenter of the new regional
programme Inside Out, which broadcasts across the region on 大象传媒
ONE from September.
Inside Out will focus on different aspects of life in the East Midlands,
and will include stories from Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire
and Nottinghamshire; plus parts of Northamptonshire and Peterborough.
Each week will see Neena in a different part of the region, bringing
a range of surprising stories from familiar places.
Neena began her television career as a 大象传媒 News trainee, but her
most recent work was for Tyne Tees Television in the North East
as a presenter and reporter.
She's just returned to Britain after nearly two years travelling
the world - fulfilling many of her dreams by climbing the Andes
in Peru, living with the Nomads in the Sahara Desert and by spending
time in India where she was born.
Neena says: "I'm looking forward to my latest adventure here
in the East Midlands presenting Inside Out.
"After beginning my career at the 大象传媒 it's great to be back.
I'll be out and about meeting people from across the region and
uncovering some remarkable stories."
Emma Agnew, Series Editor, says: "We're delighted to be able
to welcome Neena on board. She has a fantastic track record in television
broadcasting, and she's going to a real asset to this brand new
programme."
Inside Out will be broadcast on 大象传媒 ONE at peak time on Monday evenings.
