If
any town knows how to throw a party in the local park it has to
be Pontypridd.
And
now the buzzing south Wales market town is preparing to throw open
the gates of Ynysangharad Park for 大象传媒 Radio Wales presenters Owen
Money, Frank Hennessy and Kevin Hughes.
The trio are returning for a special Bank Holiday afternoon broadcast
from the park for three hours of great music, games and competitions
on Monday 26 August, live on air from 1.00pm.
And there's even a Jagger playing at the free gig - but it's not
rubber lips Mick, it's his younger brother Chris instead.
The R&B master will appear on stage with boogie woogie wunderkind
Ben Waters.
Owen Money is also lining up his band The Loan Sharks, as well as
other special guest appearances throughout the day by rock 'n roll
legend Jerry Lee Lewis' sister Linda Gail Lewis.
Soul singing sensation Dionne Morgan and Welsh boy band Storm also
take to the stage to entertain the crowds.
There will be tons of opportunities to win CDs, videos, DVDs and
Radio Wales goodies, so come along to Ynysangharad Park and join
in the fun.
Radio
Wales broadcasts on 93-96
