We
Love Wales because it has cool rock stars.
And
if you fancy hanging out in a rock star's nightclub, with a host
of groovy guests, great live music and an up-for-it audience, 大象传媒
2W has the perfect chat show for you.
Cable
TV is 大象传媒 Wales' first major new six-part chat show created exclusively
for 2W viewers.
Hosted
by the irrepressible Stuart Cable from Stereophonics, each show
features two star guests, plus full live performances and acoustic
numbers from top bands and musicians.
Guests
for this first series include Lulu, Noddy Holder, Status Quo, Rob
Brydon, Howard Marks and Peter Stringfellow.
Plus
there is a mix of classic live performances from the likes of Status
Quo and Asia and new tracks from Stereophonics, LA's, The Bellrays
and New Zealand's The D4.
Viewers
are also promised some classic Cable moments, including:
Cable
Unplugged - one-off acoustic performances from top artists including
Jessica Garlick, Aqualung and Steve Balsamo
Cable
Cab - by night Stuart is a rock star, but by day he is a cabby,
driving his genuine 1972 yellow New York Cab and picking up famous
passengers (Jools Holland, Richard Branson, Bryan Adams and Eddie
Jordan have confessed all in the back of the Cable Cab)
Mabel
Cable's Words of Wisdom - yes, Stuart's mum is really called Mabel
Cable! Join her live in her living room in Cwmaman, as she imparts
her hilarious words of wisdom ("Lads, are you having trouble
growing sideburns? Just try sellotaping a couple of Weetabix to
your head for that Noddy Holder look").
My
Fair Cable - a spoof of My Fair Lady that sees Neil and Christine
Hamilton taking on a wager to transform Stuart from Valley's boyo
to a posh country gent ("We intend to tutor you in the ways
of the posh...." Neil Hamilton).
Cable
TV starts Monday 21 October, 大象传媒 2W
