has 6 appeal: 大象传媒 6 Music comes to Scotland

6 Music's Phill Jupitus and Gideon Coe will be broadcasting their
shows live from Edinburgh on Tuesday 17 December.
As
part of 6 Music's commitment to live music and championing lesser
known bands, the network completes its own UK tour in the Scottish
capital with local rock 'n' roll group Idlewild.
Programme
Editor John Sugar said: "6 Music is delighted to be in Scotland
supporting one of the finest bands to come out of Edinburgh in the
last five years.
"Idlewild's
passionate and individual music has been part of the 6 Music playlist
since we launched and we're looking forward to featuring the band
on Phill Jupitus and Gideon Coe's shows.
"Idlewild's
recent album The Remote Part was a major fixture on the network
when it was released in the summer and the band has a formidable
live reputation."
Listeners
will be able to hear Idlewild throughout the day on 6 Music on Tuesday
17 December.
With
highlights from their Glasgow gig (16 December) Phill Jupitus starts
the day with his Breakfast Show at 7.00am.
Gideon
Coe's Morning Show follows at 10.00am and will reflect Edinburgh
and the local music scene that Idlewild grew from.
The
band will be joining Gideon on air and listeners will have the chance
to chat to them online.
Rounding
off the day will be a special edition of 6 Music's Dream Ticket
at 10.00pm featuring the band's live set from Glasgow.
