Eight finalists announced for the UK entry in
The Eurovision Song Contest 2003


Following Jessica Garlick's third place success in Eurovision 2002, almost twice as many songs were entered in this year's competition for the UK entry for Eurovision 2003.


Eight finalists have been announced today by a judges panel, including The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, the 大象传媒 and music industry experts, completing the first stage of the selection process for the UK entry for The Eurovision Song Contest 2003.


The eight finalists will be played on both Wake Up To Wogan and The Ken Bruce Show on 大象传媒 Radio 2 between Monday 27 and Thursday 30 January.


All eight entries will be played again on Friday 31 January between 8.30- 9.00am on a special show hosted by Terry Wogan and Ken Bruce and then listeners will have the chance to vote for their favourite song from 9.00-11.00am.


Internet users will also be able to listen and vote for their favourite song on the official 大象传媒 website - .


Following the voting, four finalists will be announced at 11.15am on The Ken Bruce Show on Friday 31 January.


The final four will go through to the next round of the competition and compete on Song For Europe on 大象传媒 ONE in March.
