HARDtalk:
Michael Steiner
On
大象传媒 News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Thursday 30 January 2003), Tim Sebastian
interviews Michael Steiner,
Head of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo.
With
all the talk of nation-building in a post-war Iraq, how successful
has the international community been in other areas?
In
Kosovo the record is mixed, and now the UN is looking for ways to
disengage. But is the job over?
Michael
Steiner is head of the UN mission there - and a former security
and foreign affairs adviser to Germany's Chancellor Schroder.
Tim
Sebastian asks him if he's worried that the needs of Kosovo have
been pushed out of the world spotlight by events over Iraq?
