The
station also increased its share of all radio listening in the area
to 17.5%, up from 11.9% a year ago.
At
the same time, listeners remained tuned for longer, listening for

a huge appetite there is in Suffolk for local news, local sport
and local programmes.
"Mark
Murphy's Breakfast Show is now Suffolk's most popular listen in
the morning, and our match commentaries of Ipswich Town have brought
footy fans flooding in to our Saturday Sports show."
Andy
Griffee, 大象传媒 Controller, English Regions, adds: "大象传媒 Local
Radio goes from strength to strength. I'm delighted that in an increasingly
competitive market, it has again more than held its own.
"Our
local radio services are a precious part of how we connect with
the communities we serve. We'll forge ahead with plans to maintain
and build on this vote of confidence and I congratulate the talented
