Afrique to broadcast live from
FESPACO Film Festival

French for Africa Service, 大象传媒 Afrique, will dedicate two flagship
programmes to FESPACO, the Pan-African film and television festival
held in Burkina Faso.
Fespaco
Diary (Journal du Fespaco) will broadcast live from Burkina Faso's
capital Ouagadougou from 22 February to 1 March at 18.20 GMT daily.
Presenter
Christian Ndounou-Delwami will keep listeners up-to-date with all
the happenings at this very special event.
Assisting
him will be journalists Mathieu Bonkoungou and Servais Koumako with
reports from the festival and exclusive interviews with directors,
actors and the fans of African film.
Africa
Live! (L'Afrique en Direct), a monthly, live interactive programme,
will devote a full hour to African cinema on 22 February from 11.00
GMT.
As
well as dipping into the FESPACO celebrations throughout the day,
they will also be responding to questions sent in by emails and
text messages from listeners around the globe.
Guests
on the programme will include Baba Hama, Secretary-General of FESPACO,
Mahamoudou Ou茅draogo, Minister of Culture for Burkina Faso,
as well as African directors, film critics and others.
