Derby kicks off search for new talent
As
part of the 大象传媒's campaign to find and encourage new talent, 大象传媒
Radio Derby is going to make someone's dream come true by beginning
a search for Derbyshire and East Staffordshire's Amateur Sports

The
winner gets the chance to be part of the 大象传媒 Radio Derby sports
team on a match day alongside the station's Rams commentator Ross
Fletcher.
They'll
summarise the game live on 大象传媒 Radio Derby and then attend the post-match
press conference with the manager and players.

report will be broadcast on 大象传媒 Radio Derby and feature on the 大象传媒's
website for Derbyshire.
Gary
Andrews, Assistant Editor, 大象传媒 Radio Derby, says: "The competition
is open to everyone. The only conditions are that you must be passionate
about sport and interested in broadcasting.
"It
doesn't matter how old you are or which football team you support
but you must not have been paid for work as a professional sports
reporter before.
"To
enter all you need to do is send an audio cassette or mini-disc
with three minutes of you commentating on any sporting event - whether
it's football, rugby or athletics.
"We
also want to hear your summary of the match or race - which can
last no longer than one minute."
