Bully,
Jenny & Daz howl for the Wolves!
Former
Wolves star Steve Bull has teamed up with 大象传媒 WM's Jenny Wilkes
and Daz Hale to produce a record in support of Wolverhampton Wanderers'
push for the Premiership.
A special
version of DJ Otzi's Hey Baby - re-named Hey Jonesy - is released
later this week with Alan Bull (Steve's brother) on lead vocals
with Steve, Jenny and Daz providing the backing vocals.
The
CD will be available from the 大象传媒 Shop at the Merry Hill Centre
from Saturday (3 May 2003) and Steve Bull is going to be there at
3.30pm to sign copies.
Jenny
says: "The song is a bit of fun, we said we'd release a record
if Wolves made it into the play-offs, and now they've secured their
place it's all systems go.
"It's
even better having Bully on the record, so we hope that the fans
at Molineux will start singing it during matches, and show the team
that we're backing them all the way."
Daz
adds: "We really enjoyed recording Hey Jonesy but I don't think
Bully, Jenny or I will make it on to Top of the Pops with our singing."
Steve
will be joined at the shop on Saturday by Jenny, Daz and Alan.
The
大象传媒 Shop at the Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill is situated on
the lower level next to WH Smith.
The
Lyrics: Hey Jonesy
Hey
Jonesy...We wanna go to the Premier League
Hey Jonesy...We
wanna go to the Premier League
We
all know that its been too long Since we've been where we belong
But now we know it's our time once more When we hear that famous
Molineux roar
Hey
Jonesy...We wanna go to the Premier League
Hey Jonesy...We
wanna go to the Premier League
The
disappointments we've had to take We have suffered enough heartbreak
Believe us Jonesy
this is our year
And now we know
and now we know
Its
time to repay our loyalty With trips to Anfield and Highbury This
time Jonesy we know its our year when DJ's Gold and Black Army cheer
Hey
Jonesy...We wanna go to the Premier League
Hey
Jonesy...We wanna go to the Premier League
