Apart wins prestigious award
大象传媒
WM's Poles Apart - the only 大象传媒 local radio programme for Polish
people broadcast in the UK - has won a prestigious broadcasting
award.
The
Association of Journalists of the Republic of Poland awarded Poles
Apart a Gold Cup for its services to Polish culture and for its
support of Polish communities abroad.
Bozena
Wilson, presenter of Poles Apart, says: "I'm absolutely delighted
to receive such an award.
"It's
even more special as it's the first time a British radio programme
has been bestowed with such an honour."
Keith
Beech, Managing Editor, 大象传媒 WM, adds: "For Poles Apart to win
such an award is a real achievement.
"It
recognises the contribution that the programme makes to the Polish
community in this area."
Bozena will collect the Gold Cup on behalf of 大象传媒 WM on 7 May 2003
at Porczynski's Palace in Warsaw.

Apart broadcasts on 大象传媒 WM every Sunday from 7.00 to 8.00pm on 94.8,
103.7 and 104FM.
